  • We can learn how to visit heaven while we are still alive on earth. Jesus Christ, the living Word of God makes it possible for us to visit heaven.

All Christians have the right and privilege of visiting heaven. Our God is holy and He will not allow sin and unrighteousness in His presence.

We are entitled to come before the throne of God because we have been cleansed by the blood of Jesus. 1John 1:7

  • Our Father, God loves to have His children visit Him.

So what do we have to do to visit heaven? That's a good question. Psalms 24:3-5 gives us a good clue.

  • 3 Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord? Or who may stand in His holy place?
  • 4 He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, nor sworn deceitfully.

31 And the second, like it, is this: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.” Mark 12:29-31

How can we visit heaven while we're still alive?

  1. Spend time with the Lord.
  2. Come into God's presence with praise and worship.
  3. Wait in His presence.

What does the scripture say about heaven?

1. Spend time with the Lord.

The best tip for how to visit heaven is to spend regular time with the Lord. Read and meditate on the Word of God. Pray regularly and make God a priority.

  • But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Matthew 6:33

2. Come into God's presence with praise and worship.

He is so worthy, tell Him about it. Psalms 100 is one of my favorite scriptures.

  • 1 Make a joyful shout to the Lord, all you lands!
2 Serve the Lord with gladness; come before His presence with singing.
3 Know that the Lord, He is God; it is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; we are His people and the sheep of His pasture.
4 Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.
5 For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting, and His truth endures to all generations. Psalms 100

3. Wait in His presence.

Spend time in God's presence. His timing may be different from what we think it should be. We just have to trust Him and wait for His timing.
